Membership and Financial Regulations
Yearly Membership Fee
All new/visiting attendees of meetings may attend a total of 3 meetings in order to decide whether joining School at Home Eagles is right for their family. After these three meetings (upon the 4th meeting attended), they will need to obtain membership by completing a registration form and paying the yearly membership fee of $20. This fee is non-refundable and is paid per yer, per family, per year to date.
All members of School at Home Eagles are required to pay $3 each month in dues. This is due either at each meeting or in one yearly payment. When paid monthly, dues are $36 each year for all members, and are due for each month, whether the meeting has been attended or not. When paid in one yearly payment, the dues are $30, which is a discounted price for paying upfront.
Each month, every member of School at Home Eagles will get a Financial Statement at the meeting, or mailed to their home, that indicates any fees that are currently due for either yearly membership or monthly dues. Each member,if currently owing any overdue fees, is required to respond to this Financial Statement to either the President or Vice President to address the overdue fees.
Any members who currently owe overdue fees are required to address these fees, either to pay them and make their balance current, or to arrange a payment plan or deference. Payment plans and deferences will be at the discretion of the President, Vice President or Board of Directors, but will be used generously in order to accomodate all needs of all members. If a member has NOT addressed their overdue fees, either by paying or arranging a plan or deference, that member will not be eligible for any auctions, raffles, field trips, patches or any other activity or program of School at Home Eagles that requires payment.
Any yearly membership fee that has not been paid within two months of being due, will begin to accumulate a late fee of $3 per month, in addition to the membership fee itself. Any monthly dues that have not been paid within two months of being due will begin to accumulate a late fee of $1 per month, in addition to the monthly dues themselves. Grace can be given on late fees, at the discretion of the President, Vice President, or Board of Directors when payment arrangements or deferences have been made.
